Unity & In-App UA
Unity Ads
The ad network built into the Unity game engine, serving ads across mobile games and used as a user-acquisition channel for iGaming through in-app inventory.
Unity Ads runs on mobile game inventory, so its audience is gamers and slot-style creatives land naturally. It behaves less like a classic ad network and more like a DSP: a campaign is a set of signals (events, bids, creatives, room to learn) on the Unity Vector ML core, not a manual control panel.
For iGaming, the account type decides everything: auction priority, moderation, and risk, and RMG (real-money gaming) accounts are what make gambling possible at all. Facebook habits transfer badly here; discipline and clean analytics transfer well. The trap is treating Unity like Meta and blaming settings when the real gap is infrastructure and MMP hygiene.
In buyer speech
“We moved the Slovakia campaign to Unity Ads on an RMG account and held cost per depositor at $87 across $48K.”
