Unity & In-App UA
Source App ID
The identifier of the publisher app a placement ran in, and the base unit of in-app optimization: blocklists, whitelists and per-source bids are all expressed in terms of it.
The Source App ID identifies the publisher app your ad actually ran in. It is the atom of in-app optimization: every meaningful action available to you on a Unity campaign, whether blocking, whitelisting or bidding differently, is ultimately a decision about specific Source App IDs.
Build the working report around it rather than around dates. Take spend, installs, registrations by window and payers, broken out by Source App ID, and remove the default time dimension so the table sums per app instead of fragmenting into days. That single view drives the whole optimization loop: apps that consumed spend without result go to the blocklist, apps that convert get their own bids.
In buyer speech
“Pull the Source App ID table without the time split, otherwise you are reading noise instead of placements.”
