Spark-Up
The moment an ad set suddenly catches the audience on Meta and delivers cheap results — a short window buyers scale hard before it fades.
A spark-up is the moment an ad set on Meta suddenly starts catching the audience and delivering cheap results, a gift from the algorithm that does not last. A killed ad set does not mean a bad ad; it just did not catch the spark-up, and the same creative may fly in a new campaign or on a fresh account.
When it hits, scale two ways. Vertical, by budget: raise 20-30% per step, or aggressively after each deposit ($200 to $500 on the first, to $1000 on the second), then reset to the start budget the next morning. Horizontal, by accounts: duplicate the winning ad set into new campaigns and other accounts, at least three duplicates of a strong set. Kill losers fast, grab winners faster.
In buyer speech
“That set just sparked up — push it 30% now and duplicate it into two more accounts before it cools off tonight.”
