WebView
A native app shell that displays a website inside it, used in iGaming to wrap a casino in an installable app while keeping the content web-based and editable.
WebView sits between a pure PWA and a full native build: a thin app from a store or APK that loads the casino in an embedded browser. It earns more install trust than a PWA on some sources and survives review differently, while letting you change the actual product on the web side without shipping a new build.
The choice between App, PWA and WebView is a routing decision per source and device, not a religion: match the wrapper to where the traffic comes from and what the user expects after the click. The pitfall is a poor first open, a WebView that loads slowly or looks cheap kills the trust the install just earned, and the reg-to-dep step collapses.
