Arbitrage Specialist

A specialist who runs traffic-arbitrage campaigns for a living.

An arbitrage specialist is a practitioner who earns a living running traffic-arbitrage campaigns — buying media, funneling it into affiliate offers and keeping the margin. The role combines media buying mechanics, creative production, tracker setup and offer economics, and in CIS-market slang the same person is often called an 'arbitrazhnik' or simply a buyer.

Teams hire arbitrage specialists per source: one owns Facebook, another push and popunder, another in-app. Compensation is usually a base plus a percentage of net profit, which makes accurate cost and revenue attribution non-negotiable. The classic failure mode for a junior specialist is testing too many geos and offers at once, spreading budget so thin that no single test reaches statistical significance.

In buyer speech

We're hiring an arbitrage specialist with real in-app experience — someone who has actually scaled Mintegral, not just read about it.
