Residential Proxies
Proxies using real residential ISP IP addresses, which pass moderation checks better than datacenter IPs.
Residential proxies route traffic through IP addresses assigned by consumer ISPs to real households, so platforms see an ordinary home connection rather than a server. Because these IPs carry genuine residential reputation, they pass moderation and anti-fraud checks far more reliably than datacenter IPs, which sit in well-known hosting ranges that platforms flag on sight.
Residential is the workhorse tier for account management and campaign operations: cheaper than mobile, trusted enough for most platforms. They're typically sold by traffic volume (per GB) through rotating pools or as static ISP lines. The pitfalls are sourcing and stability — pool IPs from questionable peer-to-peer networks may have abusive history, and a rotating residential IP that changes mid-session can trip platform security checks on a logged-in ad account.
In buyer speech
“Switch the Meta profiles to residential proxies — the datacenter IPs are getting checkpointed on literally every login this week.”
