Datacenter Proxies

Datacenter/server-based proxies — fast but easier for platforms to detect.

Datacenter proxies are hosted on servers in commercial data centers rather than on consumer connections, giving them high speed and low cost but IP addresses that sit in publicly known hosting ranges. Platforms and anti-fraud systems recognize these ranges instantly, making datacenter the fastest, cheapest, and most detectable proxy class available.

Buyers still keep datacenter proxies in the toolkit for jobs where detection doesn't matter: internal tooling, tracker and API calls, scraping less protected targets, and quick geo-checks of landers. Attaching them to social ad accounts is asking for instant checkpoints on trust-sensitive platforms. The economics are tempting — they cost a fraction of residential — which is precisely how new buyers learn the lesson by losing a batch of accounts.

In buyer speech

Datacenter is fine for the tracker and the scraper, but if I see one on a Facebook profile again we're going to have a talk.
