CPI

Cost Per Install — the standard unit for mobile app and PWA install campaigns.

Cost Per Install is the pricing unit for mobile app and PWA campaigns, where you pay or get paid for each completed installation. It is the standard currency of app traffic: ad networks bill buyers per install, and app-centric affiliate offers frequently pay out on the install event or use it as the first checkpoint before deposit-based payouts.

In iGaming, CPI thinking dominates the app-and-PWA funnel: buyers acquire installs cheaply, then push users to register and deposit through in-app flows and push notifications. The economics hinge on install-to-deposit rate — a $1 install that never deposits is pure loss. Watch for install farms and incent traffic when buying installs from third-party sources, and always reconcile installs against your MMP data, not the network's dashboard.

In buyer speech

Installs are landing at 90 cents but install-to-dep is under 2% — the naming and push sequence on that PWA need a rework.
