In-Page Push
Push-style notifications embedded directly on a webpage rather than the OS notification tray.
In-page push is an ad format styled to look like a push notification but rendered directly on a webpage rather than delivered through the OS notification tray. Because it needs no subscription opt-in, it reaches audiences classic push cannot — most importantly iOS users — while keeping the familiar icon-plus-headline creative layout that push buyers already know.
Buyers treat in-page push as a hybrid: it prices like push but behaves more like a small native/banner, since users see it while actively browsing rather than idle. That means fresher attention but no subscriber-list mechanics or dayparted re-sends. The usual mistake is copying OS-push creatives verbatim; in-page audiences respond better to contextual angles than to system-alert mimicry.
In buyer speech
“Push is capped in that geo, so I moved the budget to in-page push — finally getting iOS volume on the same creatives.”
