Physical Goods (Товарка)

Physical Goods — "товарка" in CIS affiliate slang — is the e-commerce vertical selling tangible products through affiliate funnels, classically on COD (cash on delivery) terms. Typical products are health, beauty, and gadget items sold via long-form prelanders; the affiliate is paid when the buyer confirms the order by phone, with the advertiser handling fulfillment and collection.

The COD model shapes the whole economics: a confirmed order is not a delivered order, so buyers watch approve rate (call-center confirmations) and buyout rate (parcels actually paid for) as hard as CTR. Traffic converts well in GEOs with low card penetration — LatAm, Southeast Asia, parts of Europe — via teaser networks and Facebook. The classic pitfall is scaling on confirmations while buyout quietly collapses.
