EPL
Earnings Per Lead — average revenue generated per lead submitted.
Earnings Per Lead is the average revenue generated per lead submitted, calculated by dividing total earnings by total leads. Where EPC measures monetization of raw clicks, EPL measures monetization one step deeper in the funnel — how much each registration or form fill is actually worth once payouts, rejections, and back-end conversions settle.
EPL matters most on multi-step funnels where leads monetize unevenly: some deposit, some get rejected, some convert weeks later on a hybrid deal. Buyers use it to price traffic for lead-gen arbitrage — if leads cost you $3 to generate and your blended EPL is $5, the machine works. Watch rejection rates closely; a rising rejection percentage quietly erodes EPL while your dashboard conversion numbers still look healthy.
In buyer speech
“After the advertiser's new validation rules, EPL dropped from $6.10 to $4.80 — recheck whether the Facebook lead ads still pencil out.”
