EPC
Earnings Per Click — average revenue per click on an offer link, useful for comparing offers.
Earnings Per Click is the average revenue generated per click sent to an offer link, calculated as total earnings divided by total clicks. It collapses conversion rate and payout into a single number, making it the fastest way to compare offers, landers, or traffic sources against each other on equal footing.
EPC is the buyer's primary steering metric: if your EPC exceeds your CPC, the campaign is profitable before fixed costs. Network-published EPCs deserve skepticism — they average all affiliates, including mismatched traffic, and are sometimes inflated to attract volume. Your own EPC per source and per lander is the truth. A common mistake is judging EPC on thin click counts; give an offer a few hundred clicks minimum before calling the number real.
In buyer speech
“Lander B is pulling $0.42 EPC against $0.28 CPC on the same zones — kill lander A and shift the full budget over.”
