Payment & Metrics

Deposit

A customer's deposit amount into an iGaming account.

A deposit is the amount of money a customer transfers into their iGaming account to play with. It is the fundamental monetary event of the vertical: deposits fund the betting activity that generates NGR, trigger CPA payouts when they qualify as FTDs, and their size and frequency define player value on any payment model.

Buyers care about deposits beyond the first one: average deposit sum and redeposit rate are the quality KPIs advertisers scrutinize, because a player who deposits the minimum once and vanishes is worth almost nothing. Deposit behavior also varies sharply by payment method and geo — local payment options on the brand side can lift both deposit rate and sums. When traffic quality gets questioned, deposit-level data is your evidence in the dispute.

In buyer speech

Average deposit sum from the Instagram cohort is $45 versus $22 from push — the advertiser will notice, weight budget accordingly.
